Responsibilities
Cultivate donor relationships : Make strategic phone calls to current supporters and prospective donors, building authentic connections that deepen engagement with our mission
Drive fundraising initiatives : Support campaigns, direct mail efforts, and fundraising events from logistics to follow-up, ensuring every touchpoint moves donors closer to impact
Master our CRM : Maintain Salesforce with excellence—accurate data entry, segmentation, reporting, and tracking that gives leadership actionable insights into fundraising health
Manage the details : Coordinate donor acknowledgments, gift processing follow-up, event logistics, and the behind-the-scenes systems that keep our development engine running smoothly
Track what matters : Generate reports on donor retention, campaign performance, and engagement metrics that inform strategy and celebrate wins
Qualification
Required
Relationally-driven, detail-oriented professional
Experience in building genuine donor relationships
Ability to manage data that tells a story
Experience in making strategic phone calls to current supporters and prospective donors
Ability to support fundraising initiatives, direct mail efforts, and fundraising events
Experience in maintaining Salesforce with excellence—accurate data entry, segmentation, reporting, and tracking
Ability to coordinate donor acknowledgments, gift processing follow-up, and event logistics
Experience in generating reports on donor retention, campaign performance, and engagement metrics
Ability to build rapport naturally and navigate conversations from small talk to meaningful asks
Strong organizational skills with clean spreadsheets and timely follow-up
Understanding of CRM hygiene as foundational for sustainable ministry growth
Resilience and grit in donor work
Value for relational fundraising and seeing donors as partners in ministry
Belief in the mission and understanding of the connection between donor work and student purpose
