Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database solutions
Write and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views
Perform database performance tuning and query optimization
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure data integrity, security, and availability
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Collaborate with application developers, QA, and business teams
Participate in database migrations, upgrades, and patching
Prepare technical documentation and development standards

Qualification

Oracle Database developmentPL/SQLPerformance tuningSQLDatabase designOracle Forms/ReportsUNIX/LinuxVersion control toolsAnalytical skillsOracle CertificationProblem-solving skills

Required

Strong of hands-on experience in Oracle Database development
Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, packages, procedures, triggers, and cursors
Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and execution plans
Good understanding of database design, normalization, and constraints
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and shell scripting is a plus
Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Familiarity with Oracle Forms/Reports, APEX, or similar tools
Experience in banking, finance, healthcare, or enterprise applications
Exposure to ETL tools, data warehousing, or reporting tools
Oracle Certification (OCA/OCP) is an advantage
