Responsibilities
Provide global technical support for the SGT-A05 (nee Allison 501) gas turbine portfolio owned by customers in the oil / gas and the distributed power generation industries
Travel to customer sites to resolve technical issues
Provide technical advice to other departments such as Sales, Design Engineering, Project Engineering, Parts and Operations Departments
Provide support for the Siemens Energy Regional Technical Support teams and Support field service engineers at customer sites. This will primarily relate to control and performance issues
Provide advice and support to the technical writer for the SGT-A05 range of gas turbines
Act as an interface between engineering, overhaul repair facilities and the packagers of the SGT-A05 gas turbines for performance related topics
Qualification
Required
Engineering degree in mechanical and/or electrical engineering is required
8+ years of experience with PLC architecture and coding is required
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Preferred
8+ years of experience with rotating equipment strongly preferred
Allen Bradley based experience preferred
