Electrification Site Manager

The Electrification Site Manager will be responsible for leading the electrification initiatives at a strategic mine site, acting as the primary liaison between customers, dealers, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Being the face of Caterpillar at site—the primary link between the customer, dealer, and Cat engineering teams
Managing communication flow across all stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity
Co‑developing and governing a multi‑phase implementation plan with the customer and dealer to guide electrification rollout
Driving electrical infrastructure development, from requirements definition to installation and commissioning
Ensuring the dealer is fully prepared, capable, and equipped to support cutting‑edge electrified solutions
Coordinating site and operational readiness, including tooling, parts inventory, risk assessments, and operator training
Overseeing assembly, installation, and commissioning of new electrification products and systems
Owning product-down response, helping keep operations running efficiently
Monitoring real‑world performance, identifying issues, closing feedback loops, and supporting product enhancements across Caterpillar
Qualification
Required
Experience with electrification, power systems or heavy equipment
Understanding of mining equipment and mine site operations
Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions
Ability to leverage customer information in creating customized customer solutions
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques
Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems
Ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science) or related field
Preferred
Experience with high-power electrical componentry
