Responsibilities
Performs basic preventative maintenance and routine repairs on various in-house systems to include conveyor, material handling equipment, tagging machines, storage equipment, vehicles, etc. Assists in troubleshooting and lubricates, adjusts and replaces parts
Performs maintenance services in two or more skill areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, heating, etc. may perform basic maintenance duties such as minor construction, landscaping, cleaning, etc
Assists maintenance mechanics in major equipment repairs, electrical repairs and installations in accordance with established safety procedures. Requisitions new supplies and equipment as necessary
Performs special projects or duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum High School Diploma or higher
Six months to one year experience in a preventative maintenance capacity with demonstrated mechanical knowledge
Ability to work with limited supervision
Be flexible with changing hours, demands, and priorities
Preferred
Vocational training in basic preventative maintenance
