Responsibilities
Building and maintaining constructive and effective relationships with underwriters
Leveraging boat/yacht P&C insurance knowledge and expertise to actively bind incoming new business opportunities and service existing accounts
Fostering an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carrier underwriters
Assess eligibility of potential clients by phone or email based on underwriting guidelines
Collect detailed risk and underwriting information including but limited to survey data and loss history
Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance including details of coverages, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information
Conduct regular follow up calls and emails with customers to communicate and clarify details of coverage and respond to inquiries
Qualification
Required
Valid P&C license
5–7 years' experience of Personal Lines Account Management experience
Extensive knowledge of Boat/Yacht Lines coverage, rate analysis/procedures
Preferred
College degree preferred
