The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for guiding clients through the onboarding process, ensuring timely account setup and customization while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients and accounts, from WMA generation to account setup and funding
Prepare and process new account paperwork including custodial forms, wealth management agreements, transfer forms, and required disclosures with a high level of accuracy
Coordinate directly with clients to obtain signatures via DocuSign or mail
Manage asset transfers including ACATs, rollovers, and wires
Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client questions and needs during the onboarding process
Collaborate closely with client service specialists and internal teams to gather information and ensure the completion of timely onboarding

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2-3 years of operations or client service experience at an RIA or similar financial services company
Experience with Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Salesforce, Addepar, DocuSign, (competency or ability to learn quickly)
Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and requests
Able to work independently with minimal to no supervision but enjoy being part of a team
Must be confidential with all client and firm matters
This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be willing to execute Corient's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement
