Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives
Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion into new verticals or geographies
Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to adjust strategies as needed
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, including setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of sales staff
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and innovation
Drive the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals across all channels
Establish metrics for tracking sales performance and ensure consistent reporting to the executive team
Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, key accounts, and high-potential opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
Ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction by aligning sales efforts with customer needs
Act as a senior point of contact for major clients and manage escalations when necessary
Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development, operations) to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives
Participate in executive-level discussions and contribute to the overall business strategy
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute demand generation programs that support the sales strategy
Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for the executive team and board of directors
Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth
Ensure that all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies
Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential business risks related to sales
Collaborate with peers to strategize on issues that disrupt goal achievement

Required

Proven track record in achieving sales goals and executing market programs that support corporate initiatives
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading large, high-performance sales teams

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment
Strong PC application skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and professionally
Strong organizational and project management skills
The ability to interact across teams in a fast-paced environment
Financial understanding and acumen
Must be proactive, resourceful, and efficient
Must be able to pass a background and drug screening for hire and randomly throughout employment

Preferred

Knowledge of the industry preferred
Experience in the beverage distribution, import/export industry is a plus
