Mid LevelTUKATECH is searching for an experienced and motivated Sewing Room Engineer to support projects involving the Unit Production System (UPS) and sewing room optimization. This role will work directly with apparel manufacturers to modernize production workflows, improve efficiency, and support the deployment of new technology.

Responsibilities
Lead implementation of UPS (Unit Production System) in customer sewing facilities
Perform software installation, configuration, training, and support
Assist with hardware installation, calibration, and troubleshooting
Develop operation sequences, routing, and operation breakdowns
Conduct time & motion studies, SMV/SAM calculations, and work-study analysis
Support line loading, line balancing, and throughput improvements
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and optimize workflow
Prepare documentation, SOPs, training materials, and reports
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, production, and management teams
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of sewing room operations and garment construction
Knowledge of UPS, modular sewing, or progressive bundle systems
Familiar with method engineering, work measurement, and industrial engineering principles
Good communication skills for training and customer-facing support
Willingness to travel for on-site installation and training (domestic & international)
Preferred
Experience with industrial sewing machines, attachments, and folders
