STEM611: 14 week Intern MSU-CS
JerseySTEM is a non-profit organization that provides free after-school instruction in STEM related disciplines to middle school girls in underserved communities in New Jersey. The Program Instructor will deliver engaging STEM-focused lessons, provide guidance to students, and collaborate with other staff to improve curriculum materials.

Responsibilities
Delivering in-person interactive and hands-on lessons in STEM subjects
Providing guidance and support to students during classroom workshops, and events
Collaborating with other instructors, volunteers, and staff to develop and improve curriculum materials and program content
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in college or grad school, while majoring in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, education)
Experience teaching or mentoring students in a STEM-related subject area is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with relevant technologies, tools, and software applications
