Responsibilities
Support financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and benchmarking activities
Assist with operating and capital budget planning and business performance analysis
Perform healthcare cost reporting and reimbursement analysis, including research and grants reporting
Maintain financial reporting and cost accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation
Utilize Healthcare Cost Accounting Information (HCAI) systems for cost reporting and analysis
Develop financial models, forecasts, and feasibility analyses to support decision-making
Analyze financial results, identify variances, and communicate findings to finance and non-finance partners
Serve as a technical resource for accounting and finance staff, particularly in advanced Excel analysis
Support general accounting operations as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong accounting experience, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Experience with healthcare cost reporting and reimbursement, including HCAI systems
Experience supporting research and grants accounting or cost reporting
Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
