Responsibilities
Support the effective day to day management of the University of East London’s Halls of Residence
Assist with estate operations, health and safety compliance, and customer service delivery
Providing portering services
Troubleshooting white-good faults
Facilitating access and room set-ups
Maintaining high standards of health and safety through inspections
Delivering excellent customer service
Enhancing the student and guest experience
Supporting compliance with standards such as the UUK Code of Practice
Ensuring our residences remain a positive and vibrant place to live and learn
Qualification
Required
Experience of maintaining inventory and stock
Knowledge of health and safety practices and a commitment to compliance
Knowledge of operating white goods
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
A proactive, problem-solving approach and a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with residents and guests
