Responsibilities
Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze data using performance monitoring tools to assess and quantify project performance, including periodic inspections of the facilities
System Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and develop strategies to improve energy yield and system availability
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting system performance, grid stability and control systems
Reporting: Generate detailed reports on energy production, system availability, and performance metrics
Collaboration: Work with design engineers, project managers, and construction teams to support commissioning and ongoing operations and drive improvements in design and construction quality; work with the O&M team to understand and resolve persistent operational issues and to develop strategies for improved performance
Qualification
Required
bachelor's degree in engineering – preferably Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - or a related field
2–4 years in solar performance engineering or related roles; experience with both C&I and small utility-scale projects a strong plus
Proficiency in performance modeling tools (e.g., PVSyst), SCADA systems, and data analytics platforms; experience with trackers and BESS also a plus
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team is also important
