Financial Coordinator
Brown & Brown is seeking a Financial Coordinator to join their growing team in Garden City, NY. The Financial Coordinator will support the Finance Unit and process payments for the Workers’ Compensation Department, working closely with the Finance Team Leader.

Responsibilities
Update Vendor database in ATS as needed
Generate letters to vendors requesting W-9’s, updates ATS, and file forms appropriately
Review weekly adjuster pay sheets and correct as needed
Prints checks – maintains check log for each client, 1099’s, EOB’s, warrants and check registers
Process voids, refunds and recoveries in ATS
Prepares and mails client financial reports inclusive of warrant, check register and associated bills
Enter payments in ATS: lost time, assessments, plan, and employer charges
Provides support for Finance Team Leader as needed
Perform Positive Pay function for specific clients
Sort paid bills daily by client
Confirm actual bills against the daily and weekly warrants
Investigate payment discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Minimum Education – High School Graduate
1 year experience in similar position
Proficient in MS Office Software
Excellent Oral/Communication skills
