7+ years expConfidential company is seeking an experienced IT Business Planning Manager to support a large-scale financial systems modernization initiative. The role focuses on aligning IT strategy with business objectives and supporting the transition activities for a major financial management system go-live planned for early 2026.

Responsibilities
Align IT initiatives with business strategy and financial system goals
Support remediation planning for 1,500+ impacted IT assets
Perform gap analysis between current financial processes and future-state systems
Support project managers, onboarding, and cross-team coordination
Track milestones, risks, issues, and executive-level reporting
Maintain project artifacts and documentation in Azure DevOps
Support change management, communication, and process improvements
Act as liaison between project resources and internal stakeholders
Qualification
Required
7+ years of IT experience (2+ years supporting financial applications)
Strong experience with ERP / Financial Management Systems
Knowledge of project planning, gap analysis, and change management
Experience with tools such as MS Project, Azure DevOps, Monday.com, or Clarity
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, or a related field (Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Preferred
Experience in large, complex IT environments (on-prem, mainframe, cloud)
Public sector or enterprise-scale program experience
Knowledge of procurement, onboarding, and cybersecurity best practices
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
