Responsibilities
Design, administer, and support Microsoft Azure cloud environments
Manage and optimize Azure networking components, including:
Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, routing
Azure VPN Gateway and ExpressRoute
Azure Load Balancer and Application Gateway
Azure Firewall and Network Security Groups (NSGs)
Ensure secure and reliable hybrid connectivity between on-prem and Azure
Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues
Implement and maintain high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams
Support cloud migrations and modernization initiatives
Ensure environments comply with security and best practices
Provide documentation and operational support as required
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in cloud and network engineering
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure
Deep knowledge of network administration and architecture
Proven experience with hybrid cloud networking
Network security and firewall concepts
DNS, routing, and traffic management
Experience supporting enterprise-scale environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a hybrid on-site / remote model
Must be based in the Houston area
Preferred
Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent)
Experience with infrastructure as code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
PowerShell or scripting experience
Experience with SD-WAN or advanced enterprise networking
Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments
