Extended Workforce Program Lead

Swoon is partnering with a client to scale a global Extended Workforce program in a fast-paced environment. The Extended Workforce Program Lead will manage daily operations, enforce standards, and oversee the lifecycle execution at scale while ensuring stable and predictable delivery.

Responsibilities

Own daily operations such as intake, prioritization, queue health, and throughput
Lead the Specialists/Coordinators delivering the work
Run cadences that drive momentum: stand ups, weekly performance reviews, escalations, retros
Set, enforce, and continuously improve SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards (definition of done, QA checks, handoffs, documentation)
Manage vendor performance: accountability, feedback loops, corrective action plans, & escalations
Oversee lifecycle execution at scale: requisition fulfillment, onboarding, extensions, off boarding, worker changes
Handle exceptions and issue resolution (e.g., time/expense approvals, edge cases, urgent requests)
Identify bottlenecks and ship improvements; workflow changes, tooling, staffing plans, documentation
Own operational reporting with crisp, proactive updates
Jump in and execute hands-on when demand spikes or things break, because results matter

Required

6–10+ years running contingent workforce operations, service delivery, or high-volume program teams
Proven experience managing partners and holding teams accountable to SLAs + quality
Strong judgment and prioritization under pressure (you can pick a lane and move)
Data comfort: you can find the signal, set targets, and drive action
People leadership style that's high-bar and high-care: empathetic, direct, and consistent
Polished stakeholder manager who can partner across business, HR, procurement, finance, IT, and security (you will be interfacing with VP/C-Suite as needed)
Willingness to travel to SF Office as needed

Preferred

PST highly preferred
VMS experience strongly preferred (VNDLY, Fieldglass, Beeline, etc.)
