This entry-level role involves safely packing, inspecting, and handling finished products while ensuring product quality and maintaining efficient production flow.

Responsibilities
Safely pack, bundle, and label extruded product according to work instructions and customer specifications
Visually inspect product for defects, damage, or quality concerns and report issues to the Extrusion Operator or Supervisor
Support extrusion line operations by assisting with material handling, line clean-up, and equipment preparation under direction
Maintain consistent production flow by keeping packing areas organized and free of obstructions
Accurately complete required production, scrap, and packing documentation
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and plant policies at all times
Identify and report unsafe conditions, near misses, or equipment concerns immediately
Maintain housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S and department expectations
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production, quality, and safety goals
Participate in training and demonstrate willingness to learn extrusion processes and equipment
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and quality standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift, push, or pull materials in accordance with job requirements
Basic math skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn extrusion processes, materials, and equipment
Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts, including overtime as required
Preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous manufacturing, production, or packing experience preferred but not required
