Responsibilities
Help document the project
Complete all documentation and then order needed parts for builds
Help with design tasks - clean up, create some drawings, verify drawings
Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging
Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
Create presentations, drawings and models, and communicate ideas and results to other engineers and management
Ensure documentations are consistent with SEMI, Standards and other standards as applicable (ANSI, DIN etc.)
Provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation
Directly support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication
Develop and present reports/presentations that communicate design intent, analysis, and validation at executive-level meetings
Work with potential suppliers to ensure parts can be manufactured in accordance with performance and cost objectives
Collaborate with cross functional team to ensure hardware designs meet overall product objectives
Qualification
Required
NX CAD is absolutely required!! (Along with that goes ability to use TeamCenter PDM)
Help document the project

Complex assemblies and able to work with detailed BOM's
AA or AS Degree is fine. A designer or a Design/Drafter is fine
Proficient in drawing creation
Understand bill of material creation and structuring
Looking for general engineering skills, with a focus on CAD design and release
NPD (New Product Development) - Electro-Plating Tool, machined and welded plastic parts (kind of unique), does not expect experience in that area, but the designs focus will be on plastics
Expects candidate to know basics of sheetmetal designs
5-10 years range experience level required
Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging

Minimum of 6 years of related experience with an associates (AA or AS) or BSME degree
Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities
Strong skills and experiences in problem solving, time and priority management, communication, and project management
Ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance
Good communication skills, ability to work well with other teams to meet production goals
Strong design background coupled with solid engineering skills
CAD (NX) REQUIRED
Top skills: proficient with CAD design, drawing creating, preparing technical presentations for design review
Preferred
Semiconductor industry experience is not required, but a plus
