Responsibilities
Writing, testing, and debugging code, particularly in COBOL, and maintaining/enhancing legacy systems
Extensive experience in creation, maintenance, debugging JCL
Installing, upgrading, customizing, and implementing new functionality in Micro Focus tools to meet project requirements
Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Micro Focus applications like ALM, including user management, project creation, and license administration
Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Qualification
Required
Minimum 12 years of Experience in COBOL
Extensive expertise in COBOL, SQL, Oracle and scripting languages like Python or Shell
Writing, testing, and debugging code, particularly in COBOL, and maintaining/enhancing legacy systems
Extensive experience in creation, maintenance, debugging JCL
Micro Focus Enterprise Server latest version (on Windows not on Oracle Database 11g, RHEL 6.x) (Mainframe emulator)
Installing, upgrading, customizing, and implementing new functionality in Micro Focus tools to meet project requirements
Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Micro Focus applications like ALM, including user management, project creation, and license administration
Knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
