Responsibilities
Design and troubleshoot highly complex backend components requiring deep analysis and research
Serve as a subject matter expert for OMS server-side modules
Lead system design, specification development, program logic, testing, debugging, and documentation
Review and guide development tasks for moderate to highly complex programming efforts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure
Support and mentor junior engineers, assigning tasks and providing technical direction
Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex issues in development and production environments
Contribute to client/technology discussions and solution design
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Core Java (server-side) development experience
Strong background in distributed systems and real-time processing
Concurrency, multi-threading, and performance optimization
Data structures, algorithms, and design patterns (GoF)
SQL and relational databases
Unix/Linux environments
Experience with CI/CD and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Jenkins)
Experience developing APIs and core business logic
Strong communication skills and interest in mentoring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Preferred
Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or JSF
Experience with compilers or domain-specific languages (DSLs)
Familiarity with Java performance tuning and garbage collection
Experience with agile and test-driven development
Experience with automation tools (Ant, TeamCity, JUnit, TestNG, JaCoCo, etc.)
