Mid, Senior LevelRudman Winchell is a general practice law firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced attorney specializing in Civil Litigation to join their busy legal team. The attorney will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation matters, advocating for their rights, and managing all aspects of the litigation process.

Responsibilities
Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs
Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies
Manage all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings
Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
Provide exceptional client service, including regular communication and updates on case progress
Represent clients in various legal proceedings
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state of Maine
Experience in civil litigation
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality
Ability to travel to private and public buildings locally and statewide via private or public conveyance to attend to client needs on legal matters
Ability to work more than 40 hours per week as necessary
