FEMTO RAN Engineer

Responsibilities
Provide commissioning and integration of RAN hardware/software by interfacing with both internal and external customers and provide technical RAN related services
Support and perform commissioning and integration of RAN related hardware
Support and perform the implementation of new software and maintenance loads
Provide technical support per project and customer SLA
Support lab/pilot/FOA planning and validation of new hardware and software
Assist with customer problem investigation and support all facets of resolution
Provides measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies
Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience; OR a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with RAN Engineering for 5G, 4G, LTE, UMTS or GSM
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with Small Cells or FEMTO Gateway
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with AAA (Authentication, Authorization Accounting), HDM (Home Device Manager), and SAM (Service Area Manager) node
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience to troubleshoot root cause analysis of software and hardware related issues in customer network
Domestic travel up to 50% required
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Bellevue, WA may be permitted up to 60%
