Responsibilities
Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects, including geotechnical and construction materials
Assemble and guide project teams through all project phases, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met
Manage project financials, resource allocation, scheduling, and deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes
Conduct technical reviews of engineering plans, designs, and specifications, maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards
Develop new business opportunities through networking, client relationships, and proposal writing
Oversee branch financials, forecasting, staffing, and personnel development
Promote a positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and alignment with company values
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with a focus on geotechnical engineering is required
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Minimum 8 years of combined technical and managerial experience in engineering preferably with geotechnical background
Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of relationship-building
Business acumen with experience managing profit and loss (P&L)
Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
A commitment to maintaining safety standards and engineering best practices
Preferred
A Master's degree and graduation from West Virginia University are preferred
Familiarity with local and regional engineering trends is preferred
