Manager, Revenue Management Operations Research

Responsibilities
Enhancing revenue management systems by analyzing forecast and revenue performance data, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing innovative solutions that increase profitability
Researching, developing, and implementing advanced Operations Research techniques and models to address complex, real-world revenue optimization problems
Overseeing and maintaining production systems that support and enable core Revenue Management capabilities
Leading project-based initiatives requiring strong analytical problem-solving, prototype development, and end-to-end implementation of optimized solutions
Collaborating closely with IT to ensure successful deployment, integration, and ongoing maintenance of production systems and optimization tools
Leading cross-functional initiatives, partnering with Pricing, Yield Management, Network Planning, Sales, Finance, AAdvantage, Marketing, and other key stakeholders
Driving and coordinating complex, multi-department projects, delivering clear analyses, strategic insights, and actionable recommendations to Senior Leadership
Qualification
Required
BS/BA degree with significant coursework or experience in a quantitative discipline (economics, mathematics, engineering, finance, etc.), or graduate degree
Ability to manage a team and support critical business decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to identify gaps in current tools and systems and create vision for Revenue Management success going forward
Ability to solve and to lead others in solving complex analytical problems
Willingness to take calculated risks
Ability to build collaborative relationships with and consensus amongst multiple stakeholders with varying points of view
