Civil Engineer III-IV

Analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical utility systems and equipment
Budgeting, planning, and managing utility projects
Coordinating engineering tasks with other engineers and utility operations staff
Working with design professionals and construction contractors
Being a technical resource to FPM and campus
Documenting distribution systems and design standards
Supporting mechanical distribution personnel
Performing water quality reports and water supply system Operator in Charge regulatory compliance tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
Preferred
Degree in civil or mechanical engineering or similar discipline
Experience in an engineering design or construction related field
Experience with municipal domestic water distribution systems
Experience with municipal storm or sanitary sewer systems
Experience with chilled water systems, natural gas systems, or steam systems
Holds or has the ability to obtain a Water Distribution Grade I or Grade II operator license
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience. State of Iowa Professional Engineering license is preferred
