Responsibilities

Assist with support to network infrastructure initiatives including preventative maintenance, configuration back-ups, capacity planning, network redundancy, and disaster recovery

Provide basic network administration and assist with complex network administration tasks

Monitor network infrastructure with some guidance to ensure optimal performance

Update network documentation, including written records and network diagrams

Perform installations of new facilities and monitor equipment levels as needed

Required

Two (2) years of work experience including hands-on knowledge of the installation, implementation, and maintenance of Cisco networking equipment. (If no degree, a total of six (6) years of experience required.)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field required, or four (4) years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree

Certifications – Cisco Certified Network Analyst (CCNA) is required. Two additional years of progressive work experience may replace the certificate requirement

Ability to assist with network support, troubleshooting, and documentation efforts

Willingness to support on-call duties and occasional onsite travel across the Atlanta area
