Atomic Semi is building a small, fast semiconductor fab and is seeking an enthusiastic RF power engineering intern. The role involves developing compact RF systems, collaborating with engineers, and managing the design and manufacturing of RF power systems.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design of complete RF power systems from architecture to schematic to layout

Ensure accurate RF power diagnostics and metrology

Collaborate with engineers and scientists to gather system requirements

Help define of firmware requirements

Source components and lead manufacturing effort

Qualification

RF systemsRF power amplifier designRF power measurement designHands-on prototypingCable harness design

Required

Experience building of RF systems

RF resonant power amplifier design in the 100s of Watts range

RF power measurement sensor design

Hands on prototyping and testing

Cable harness design, documentation, and fabrication

A portfolio is required to apply: show us the things you've actually built!

Ability to rapidly develop compact RF systems from gathering requirements to the production stage

Ability to collaborate with engineers and scientists to gather system requirements

Ability to help define firmware requirements

Ability to source components and lead manufacturing effort

Preferred

Advanced degree in power electronics or related field

Plasma systems experience

Systems engineering and integration
