Responsibilities
Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
Participate in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Support the annual financial audit
Maintain up-to-date financial records and prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed
Assist with quarterly reviews, interim and year-end external audits
Special projects and other assigned duties
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Candidates with general business degrees and a concentration of accounting courses will be considered
2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance
Experience with general ledger reporting systems and financial statement preparation
In-depth understanding of account reconciliations and GAAP principles
Understanding of debits and credits supporting recorded transactions
Proficiency in MS Excel and Office Suite
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability
Effective time management and organizational skills required to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to recommend solutions to identified issues
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
