This role focuses on upgrading and standardizing network infrastructure across multiple U.S. locations and replacing end-of-life equipment with modern Cisco technologies.

Responsibilities
Provide Tier 3 / Tier 4 network support in an enterprise environment
Install, configure, and support Cisco networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless components
Replace legacy network hardware with modern Cisco solutions
Perform rack and stack deployments and assist with on-site network upgrades
Troubleshoot network issues related to TCP/IP, VPN/IPSec, routing, and connectivity
Analyze existing network configurations and integrate new features into current infrastructure
Ensure network compliance with internal policies, technical standards, and regulatory requirements
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures
Track and manage work using ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system
Qualification
Required
4–6 years of experience in a Network or LAN Engineering role, preferably within an enterprise environment
Hands-on experience configuring and deploying routers and switches
3+ years of experience upgrading or replacing legacy network equipment with Cisco solutions
Catalyst 9300 switches, Cisco IOS, ASA firewalls
Strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and ISIS
Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP, VPN/IPSec, and IP routing issues
Experience supporting both Windows (Microsoft) and Unix/Linux-based operating systems
LAN Engineering: 4 years (Required)
Cisco Network: 6 years (Required)
Catalyst 9300 switches, ASA Switches and Cisco IOS: 6 years (Required)
Willingness to travel: 50% (Required)
Preferred
Cisco or networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, MCP, VCP, or similar)
Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise change management
BGP, OSPF, ISIS: 6 years (Preferred)
