Responsibilities
Own end-to-end fund accounting: journal entries, financial statement creation, trial balance reconciliation, and performance reporting for multiple funds and co-investment vehicles
Deliver timely, error-free fund financials supporting investment activity and regulatory requirements
Drive process reliability and data integrity—proactively anticipate and solve accounting issues as fund complexity increases
Collaborate closely with internal finance, controller, and CFO for holistic financial oversight
Contribute to team culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and results
Qualification
Required
2–5 years' hands-on fund accounting or fund administration experience (private equity/hedge fund/alternative asset focus) or experience in public accounting audited PE firms
Demonstrated ability to prepare and explain full-cycle financial statements and journal entries (not just review)
Advanced understanding of debits, credits, and core accounting principles in a fund/PE environment
