Responsibilities
Customer-Embedded Problem Solving: Partner with engagement managers and customer stakeholders to deeply understand mission-critical problems across logistics, supply chain, MRO, and sustainment, translating them into actionable data science solutions
End-to-End Solution Ownership: Design, build, iterate, and deploy data science and machine learning solutions, taking full accountability from initial analysis through production implementation
Applied Modeling & Analytics: Develop predictive, optimization, search, retrieval, and recommendation models tailored to real-world operational constraints and decision environments
Rapid Iteration & Deployment: Operate in a fast-paced environment, pushing models and analytical solutions into production quickly while maintaining quality, reliability, and explain ability
Product Feedback Loop: Collaborate closely with core AI and product teams to identify patterns across deployments and help translate successful solutions into scalable, extensible product capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
4–8+ years of applied data science or machine learning experience in production environments
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience working with messy, real-world datasets
Hands-on experience deploying models into production environments
Applied experience with optimization, decision modeling, search/retrieval, recommendation systems, or similar techniques
Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences
U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible and willing to obtain a security clearance
Willingness to travel up to 25–50% as required by customer deployments
Preferred
Experience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, robotics, IoT, or defense-related domains
Background in fast-paced commercial technology environments (e.g., large-scale tech, applied AI startups)
Familiarity with advanced retrieval systems, embeddings, or cross-modal modeling
Experience operating in customer-facing or forward-deployed roles
