5+ years expAdvanced Energy is a global leader in precision power conversion and control solutions, and they are seeking a Service Planning Project Manager to ensure products are service-ready prior to customer release. This role involves collaboration across multiple departments to implement product test and repair processes and ensure essential service personnel are trained.
Responsibilities
Participate in new product development teams to create service-readiness plans (test/repair, materials, training, spares, service offerings)
Ensure assembly and test requirements for product derivatives are created
Manage global support solution deployment, including upgrades
Coordinate with service test engineering to incorporate serviceability into design
Qualification
Required
Strong project management skills
Technical aptitude with experience with hardware/software support
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and think strategically
5+ years supporting electronic hardware products in manufacturing/service roles; global business experience preferred
Proficiency in Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft suite
Strong problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred
>5 years in design/development or manufacturing support
Experience with RF and DC switch mode power supplies
