Sr. Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Perform monthly and quarterly close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Account for equipment loans, operating leases, and capital (finance) leases in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Maintain and reconcile loan and lease sub-ledgers to the general ledger
Prepare interest income, fee income, and unearned income amortization schedules
Support external audits, internal and external reporting
Assist with documentation and implementation of accounting policies related to equipment financing structures
Support accounting and reporting for warehouse lines and forward-flow arrangements
Prepare and validate borrowing base and covenant reports
Reconcile collateral balances, advance rates, reserves, and ineligible asset calculations
Support liquidity management, accounts payable, draw requests, and covenant compliance
Assist with data tape for syndications and securitizations
Analyze portfolio performance including yield, margins, prepayments, delinquencies, and charge-offs
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling in high-growth environments
Develop run-rate and portfolio runoff analyses tied to funding capacity
Perform ad-hoc financial modeling to support pricing, growth initiatives, and capital strategy
Work closely with credit, servicing, treasury, and capital markets teams to ensure data accuracy and control
Support process automation and system enhancements to scale reporting and borrowing base calculations
Assist with onboarding new funding facilities or structural changes to existing programs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
5-7 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience
Deep understanding of financial statement preparation and forecasting
Direct experience in asset-backed lending, or structured finance
Experience supporting warehouse facilities or ABS transactions
Strong understanding of loan and lease accounting under U.S. GAAP
Advanced Excel skills including financial models, reconciliations, and data analysis

Preferred

CPA, CMA, CFA or similar professional designation or progress towards a plus
Experience with borrowing base management and covenant compliance
Familiarity with securitization structures, advance rate mechanics, and eligibility criteria
Exposure to CECL, credit reserve modeling, or portfolio risk analytics
Experience with loan/lease servicing systems, Net Suite GL system, and/or Salesforce
