Responsibilities
Primary relationship owner for AP1000 structural module suppliers
You will develop an overall sourcing strategy to meet organizational goals by improving Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while securing supply continuity through identifying and mitigating current and potential risks and opportunities in the commodity plan
Lead negotiations for supplier agreement, inclusive of Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, Preferred Supplier Agreements, Teaming Agreements
You will Review analysis from Power BI and other tools to create insights into the drivers of assigned commodity and possible effects for spend and cost projections to use as levers with our supply base
Conduct regular business reviews (SRM) with main and strategic suppliers with teams and senior leadership
Create presentations for supplier quarterly business reviews, procurement strategies, risk mitigation proposals, 4-Blockers, and supplier/commodity gap analysis
Develop a productive working relationship with peers: Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Delivery Stream
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree or MBA preferred
Minimum 5 years of procurement experience (preferably within industries with large engineering, procurement, and construction projects, with a focus on procurement)
Minimum 5 years of experience in negotiations including RFI, RFP, RFQ and contract development
Benchmark, Market Analysis, Competitive Intelligence, and Procurement Projects Management skills
Experience with vendor management including purchase order issuance, execution, and administration
Ability to maintain long term productive relationship with suppliers (SRM)
ERP system or similar system experience in a global environment (SAP & Ariba)
