Responsibilities
Lead major projects and participate in design and architecture
Act as a technical leader on your team and demonstrate core values for junior engineers
Participate in architectural and design discussions and reviews
Develop back-end web services with emphasis on design, scalability, and high availability
Participate in high-level architectural discussions to feature implementation and DevOps automation
Qualification
Required
Solid knowledge of at least one major programming language
Knowledge of a scripting language
Proficiency in shell scripting (Linux shell scripting -- bash)
A strong knowledge of Linux fundamentals
Knowledge of database fundamentals
Familiarity with major architectural patterns and principles
Skills in debugging and testing complex systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
