Process Technical Engineer
Jinko U.S. is a company focused on engineering solutions, and they are seeking a Process Technical Engineer to oversee production equipment and ensure its optimal functioning. The role involves creating technical documents, collaborating with HQ on materials implementation, and leading process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Create technical documents, build BOM and materials usage for each sales order based on MDA and DS, configure and setup required product and production order information in PLM, SAP, and MES
Collaborate with HQ technical department to implement new materials and products. Coordinate with HQ on modifying drawings and technical specs to meet US standards and machine manufacturability
Track and monitor CTM. Use numerical values or key metrics to illustrate the disparities between power prediction and real output and work with the manufacturing engineer to conduct root cause analysis
Work with procurement and QA on supplier evaluation and on-site audits and facilitate action item closure. Assist suppliers in driving product and process improvement
Prepare sample modules for certifications and reliability tests
Deal with customer complaint. Create failure analysis root cause report utilizing an 8D methodology
Contribute to ISO, IEC, UL, and customer compliance audits, and support pre-shipment inspection activities
Assist in developing and modifying existing processes or machines to improve material flow and waste reduction. Lead improvement initiatives which ensure the organization meets its customer satisfaction and cost reduction goals

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Materials Engineering or related discipline required
At least 2 years of working experience in high-tech manufacturing industry or highly automated manufacturing environment
Ability to review and update technical drawings in 2D or 3D
Knowledge of materials property and good mechanical aptitude
Good team player with a positive and proactive attitude; self-starter who performs well under minimum supervision; Ability to communicate effectively and accurately
Computer skills including Microsoft Office and CAD software (Solidworks or Inventor), experience using SAP, PLM and MES
Must be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment
Ability to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
Able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Bilingual English/ Mandarin preferred
