Pro E Consulting is a dynamic and growing company seeking a creative full-time CAD designer to support real estate development projects. The role involves utilizing design software to produce 2D and 3D designs while collaborating closely with staff and clients in the civil engineering domain.

Responsibilities

Using established CAD standards and design criteria to design civil infrastructure and site improvements and prepare construction plan drawings based on that design, under the direction and supervision of a project lead
Be diligent in organizing and scheduling work to accomplish goals on projects within established timelines. Must not be shy or scared to ask questions or for help. We are a team!
Coordination with jurisdictional agencies, plan reviewers, engineers and other design team members. Cannot be afraid or unwilling to make phone calls
Plotting and assembling construction plans, exhibits, specifications, etc
Assist in the oversight of CAD systems & standards

Required

High School graduate or GED required
Post High School technical coursework, certification or degree in computer drafting/design or related field
Responsive and results oriented in service to clients
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD/ Civil 3D, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships with other team members
Ability to quickly adapt to and adopt new CAD standards and procedures
Commitment to quality in the design and presentation of drawings

Preferred

Experience in design of water, sewer, streets, grading and drainage projects is a plus, but you will be exposed and trained on these things
