Responsibilities
Manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through final report delivery
Prepare geotechnical engineering reports, proposals, and technical recommendations
Coordinate and oversee drilling operations and field activities performed by technicians
Review soil classification data and laboratory results for accuracy and applicability
Manage construction materials testing projects, schedules, and budgets
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
Identify value engineering opportunities and support upsell efforts during active projects
Mentor field and junior staff through direct oversight and technical guidance
Qualification
Required
2 or more years of geotechnical engineering experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Experience preparing geotechnical engineering reports and proposals
Working knowledge of soil classification, subsurface investigations, and drilling operations
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an on-site environment
Preferred
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
Experience managing construction materials testing projects
Client-facing experience with business development or scope expansion
Ability to identify and communicate value engineering solutions
Familiarity with Florida geotechnical conditions and local project types
