Responsibilities
Greet and engage with prospective members, providing compelling product demos of gym facilities and membership options
Conduct tours of the gym, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sign-ups
Upsell additional services or products, such as personal training sessions or merchandise, to maximize member satisfaction and revenue
Handle all POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing memberships via cashiering systems
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for upselling opportunities
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to foster positive interactions
Ability to stand, walk, and move around actively throughout shifts; physical stamina is important for success in this role
Preferred
Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
Familiarity with POS systems and merchandising practices in a grocery store or retail setting is advantageous
Supervising experience or leadership skills are beneficial for supporting team initiatives
