Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver accurate analyses, reports, and schedules within established time frames to support decision-making
Maintain control over assigned responsibilities, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and implement necessary changes based on current developments
Identify and resolve accounting issues promptly; research complex issues and provide recommendations to inform management decisions
Perform journal entries and analyze accounting transactions (including complex ones) for internal and external customers; produce reliable financial reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, accounting, general business, tax, statistics or a related field is required
Intermediate knowledge of subject area field such as accounting, finance, economics, general business, tax, statistics and utility operations
Ability to perform analysis as structured by others
2+ years of accounting experience, tax preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of theory and general practices of subject area
Demonstrated advance understanding of the accounting field and good understanding of the company's business processes and operations
Demonstrated advance understanding of the tax field preferred
5+ years of accounting experience, tax preferred
Demonstrated depth of technical competency indicating mastery of the theory and practice of the subject area
Considerable knowledge of the theory and practices of related accounting field, tax preferred
Demonstrated knowledge and big picture understanding of major business processes and operations
