The role focuses on process and product development, optimization, and supporting project teams in producing new designs and processes.

Responsibilities

Assists in creation and improvement of manufacturing processes utilizing engineering input, engineering drawings, process mapping, and machine capabilities

Assists in development and refinement of work instructions, work scopes, routers, and BOMs

Works with cost accounting to define cycle & takt times to generate standard hour measurements on the shop floor

Assist in data collection, scrubbing, and refinement of capacity studies

Collects data and maintains metrics using Microsoft Office suite

Supports engineering staff with Material Review Board determinations

Data management for engineering support of ERP implementation

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial engineering or another related field required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
