Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and turning centers following complex blueprints and specifications
Retrieve and review job information, including drawings, tool lists, routings, and work instructions
Select appropriate cutting tools and workholding for various materials and machining processes
Document production quantities and processes using ERP or related systems
Perform precise measurements and inspections to ensure parts meet strict quality standards
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machining efficiency and workflow
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with safety protocols
Assist in developing new machining methods, tools, and processes for complex parts
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
6–8 years of relevant machining experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
Basic computer literacy
Strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Solid understanding of basic math, including fractions
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards
Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace
Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs
Close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Manual dexterity and ability to reach with hands and arms for extended periods
Ability to stand for long periods
