Responsibilities

Actively promote and sell products offered by the organization
Solicit new business and generate and qualify new leads
Develop and maintain existing customer relationships
Travel, source and develop client referrals
Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
Combine technical knowledge and sales skills to demonstrate value-added solutions over competitive offerings
Participate in trade shows both national and international
Manage and train Distributors and or Resellers in the region, if applicable
All other duties as assigned

Required

Proven track record in prospecting, closing and growing business accounts in preferred related industries of – utility, natural gas, petro chemical, pipeline or instrumentation market segments
Willing to travel extensively in North America and internationally as required
Knowledge of mechanical /electronic processes and willing to be hands-on, if needed
Strong communications skills
Outstanding customer relationship skills
Excellent presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels of the organization
Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite software and other productivity tools
Has experiencing using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and software
Time management
Relationship Building, Leadership, Organizational Awareness
Proven ability to deliver results
Effective planning and organizational skills
Diploma/Degree in either Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with business aptitude and strong communication skills preferred
Minimum 5-10 years of technical sales in selling mechanical or electronic equipment – preferably related to utility, natural gas, petro chemical, pipeline or instrumentation market segments
Candidates must have experience selling equipment related to mechanical or electronics
Experience/exposure to a manufacturing environment
