New Grad, Entry LevelSoloPoint Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure the quality of their products. The role involves performing inspections at various stages of production, documenting results, and communicating quality issues with management.

Responsibilities
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on incoming, in-process, and final products including sheet metal, PCBAs/CCAs, printed circuit boards, conformal coating, labels/markings, cables, harnesses, and COTS items
Conduct inspections at multiple stages such as Incoming, RMA, In-Process, Final, and Shipping
Test and verify mechanical, electrical, and functional performance as required
Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and prepare FAIR documentation
Document inspection results and generate NCMRs, DCRs, and ERRs as needed
Communicate with QA and Project Managers regarding quality issues, delays, and high-priority jobs
Qualification
Required
Extensive working knowledge of IPC-A-600, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-620 (IPC training/certification preferred)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and assembly instructions
Experience using mechanical and electrical measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe PDF, and database systems
Solid math skills (decimals, fractions, measurements, geometry)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
