Responsibilities

Preparation of 10-Q, 10-K and other SEC filings including financial statements, footnote disclosures and MD&A to ensure timely and accurate filings and testing of internal controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
Assist in the valuation and expense recognition of equity-based compensation, pension and other post-retirement benefits, preparation of goodwill and identifiable intangible annual impairment testing
Assist with the assessment of new SEC/GAAP pronouncements

Qualification

Degree in AccountingCPASEC reporting experienceMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft WordOrganizational skillsWritten communicationVerbal communicationDetail-oriented

Required

Degree in Accounting
2+ years of Big 4 and/or private industry experience
Experience preparing footnote disclosures and accounting memos
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

Preferred

CPA preferred
SEC reporting experience preferred
