This role will serve as Cardella Construction’s first dedicated IT hire, responsible for setting the technology vision while also supporting the day-to-day IT needs of our team.

Responsibilities
Lead and evolve Cardella Construction’s IT and technology strategy in alignment with business goals
Serve as the internal expert for Procore and all other construction technology platforms, including Microsoft Office and Sage Intacct
Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative solutions, including AI-driven tools and automation
Attend construction technology trade shows, conferences, and vendor demonstrations
Support field and office teams with technology solutions that improve efficiency and collaboration
Provide hands-on IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues
Set up computers, devices, and software for new hires and role changes
Manage IT asset inventory, including purchasing, tracking, and disposal of equipment
Establish IT standards, policies, and cybersecurity best practices
Work with department leads to spearhead innovation through the use of technology
Partner with leadership to plan for the future growth of the IT function, with the opportunity to build a team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of progressive IT experience, preferably within construction or a related industry
Strong working knowledge of Procore and construction technology ecosystems
Comfortable working in a hands-on role while also setting long-term strategy
Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage Intacct is a plus
Experience evaluating and implementing new technologies, including AI tools
