Responsibilities

Execute preventative maintenance tasks on site specific equipment during monthly – semi-annual – annual maintenance cycles
Demonstrate reactive maintenance skills, such as basic troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis, to reestablish faulted units
Complete permits to work, job safety plans (JSPs)
Conduct lockout tag-out (LOTO) procedures
Perform last minute risk assessments
Properly interpret ENGIE’s official documentation, such as LOTO procedures, work instructions, routine maintenance checklists, and create and follow up on work orders and observations created in Maximo
Conduct site orientations to original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s) representatives, independent service provider’s (ISP’s), vendors, and site visitors, and accompany them to units to perform LOTO and general supervision when needed
Participate in a Qualified Electrical Worker Competency Skills test, in which you will demonstrate knowledge on taking AC/DC voltage readings, perform a hot-cold-hot tests, use CAT IV PPE, use a shotgun stick to apply cluster grounds and to verify the absence of voltage using a non-contact voltage detector, and in the use of a voltage detector tester

Required

Minimum High School Diploma/GED or a diploma in an electrical program where you have learned AC/DC voltage, general electrical theory, basic understanding of one-line and three-line schematics, operation & maintenance of electrical equipment such as AC/DC breakers, AC/DC disconnects, MV transformers, NO/NC contactors, and relays
Minimum one-three (1-3) years of experience in any or BESS sites, Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites, Thermal power plants, or Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance
Knowledgeable of how to use basic hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, crescent wrenches, pliers, ratchet wrenches, analog or digital torque wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, etc
Proficient in using and maintaining SCADA systems
Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
