Responsibilities

Manage all project phases, including design review, detailing, fabrication, delivery, erection, and closeout
Review project scope, contracts, drawings, and proposals to define requirements and identify risks
Coordinate with estimators, detailers, purchasing, fabrication teams, erectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
Track project schedules, budgets, and resources, making adjustments to meet deadlines and cost goals
Attend kickoff meetings, visit job sites as needed, and ensure safety, quality, and code compliance
Prepare progress reports, manage change orders, and support monthly invoicing and project documentation
Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities to improve efficiency
Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

Required

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
At least 3 years of experience in structural or miscellaneous steel project management, fabrication, or erection
Strong knowledge of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, fabrication processes, and AISC standards
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project), blueprint reading, and MS Office
Ability to read construction drawings, prepare material takeoffs, and estimate change orders
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
Ability to work extended hours when required

Preferred

Experience with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, or similar 3D modeling software
PMP or equivalent certification
Experience with steel fabrication management software
