They are seeking a Capital Markets & Project Finance Manager to assist in executing transactions with investors, raise capital for their business, and manage project finance activities.
Responsibilities
Raise capital to fund the growth of EnFin’s residential TPO business in alignment with Company goals and annual targerts
Assist in deal execution with JV/debt/tax equity investors in accordance with Company standards and practices
Review and revise legal documentation as needed for investor-related deals as well as other finance matters including complicated JV, debt, and tax equity legal documents
Assist in developing and delivering presentation materials for investor calls and meetings that are thorough, accurate, and attentive to specific business needs
Assist the Asset Management Team in preparing borrowing requests and executing tranche sales
Foster a productive relationship and work closely with external stakeholders including third party appraisers, insurance providers, and independent engineers
Perform both recurring and ad-hoc analysis to support Senior Management and Leadership of the Capital Markets Team
Articulate EnFin’s TPO business and strategy to third party investors ensuring to highlight and explain the most critical aspects
Build and maintain complex project finance/tax equity models to present to internal and stakeholders as well as Leadership
Assist with monitoring and maintaining a close linkage between capital costs and market pricing
Develop, teach and provide guidance to junior members of the team ensuring they are performing work according to best practices and standard procedures
Foster collaboration, mentor junior team members, and ensure collective growth in domain expertise
Qualification
Required
Passion for renewable energy and the adoption of rooftop solar
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering or related field with a minimum of 8+ years of work experience including 5+ years of experience in project finance or structured finance at a top-tier developer, asset manager, or investment bank
Relentless intellectual curiosity and unwavering attention to detail
Experience in MS Office Suite and Excel (Pivot tables, functions, & VBA)
Ability to learn how to use new tools such as AI to enhance efficiency
Unparalleled work ethic and ability to research, identify and troubleshoot problems independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, 'start-up' work environment
Preferred
Experience building and maintaining complex project finance Excel models
Basic understanding of consumer lending, credit underwriting, and renewable energy finance
Experience with SQL, Python or SAS
5+ years of experience in consumer or renewable energy finance
